Uniform

Wearing school uniform gives children a sense of belonging and shows a pride in being a part of their school. It helps to engender a positive attitude to learning and ensures children value one another as individuals, without making judgements made on dress alone.

The uniform is:

  • School logo navy sweatshirt or cardigan or plain navy jumper, fleece or cardigan with school badge sewn on
  • White polo t shirt (with a collar)
  • Grey or black trousers, shorts, skirt or pinafore (not leggings)
  • Grey, black or white tights or socks (no leggings)
  • In summer, navy blue gingham dresses of any style may be worn - any shorts underneath should be plain and a neutral colour e.g. black, white, navy
  • Black, grey, white or navy hijab
  • Navy/black/white/neutral coloured, plain, small hair accessories
  • Footwear:
    • Plain, black school shoes
    • Flat, plain, black boots with no logos or decorations
    • Plain, black trainers with no logos or writing
    • Plain sandals (not Crocs style, jelly shoes or flip flops) for summer in white, black, navy or other neutral tone e.g. beige, grey - worn with socks underneath to protect toes
  • School book bag - not own bags or rucksacks as these take up too much room

PE kit

  • White round neck t shirt
  • Navy shorts (no leggings)
  • Grey, black or white socks
  • Black plimsolls or plain trainers (no logos or writing)
  • Navy tracksuit bottoms for outside PE on cold days (from year 3 onwards)

  • Optional - school logo PE bag (own small, draw string type bag can be used)

If a child has an after school sports club or fixture, they will be advised of anything else they may wish to bring e.g. shin pads, football strip, but these things should not be worn for curriculum PE.

No jewellery (including watches), nail varnish or makeup.

Studs may be worn if ears are pierced.

Compulsory religious jewellery and ear studs need to be removed or safely covered for PE.

Please label ALL uniform items with your child's full name and surname.

The school has access to spare or subsidised uniform should you be unable to provide this for financial reasons. Please speak with the office. School logo badges can be purchased for a small charge from the office and sewn onto any supermarket items such as navy jumpers or cardigans.
