Wearing school uniform gives children a sense of belonging and shows a pride in being a part of their school. It helps to engender a positive attitude to learning and ensures children value one another as individuals, without making judgements made on dress alone.
The uniform is:
PE kit
Children must have a change of footwear for P.E. – they cannot stay in their school shoes.
No jewellery (including watches) may be worn for P.E.
Compulsory religious jewellery and ear studs must be removed for P.E. lessons.
If a child has an after-school sports club or fixture, they will be advised of anything else they may wish to bring e.g. shin pads, football strip, but these things should not be worn for curriculum PE.
Please label ALL uniform items with your child's full name and surname.
The school has access to spare or subsidised uniform should you be unable to provide this for financial reasons. Please speak with the office. School logo badges can be purchased for a small charge from the office and sewn onto any supermarket items such as navy jumpers or cardigans.
