week beg 4th May

Welcome to week 3,

This week the F1 team have been taking part in creative activities. Check out our favourite sea creatures.

Miss Dattani drew a dolphin because they are friendly and extremely playful. Dolphins are considered to be one of the most intelligent animals.

Miss Charlton drew a seahorse. She like seahorses because some of them are amazing at camouflage. Here is a video about seahorses. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q3CtGoqz3ww

Mrs Essex decided to create a seahorse because they look nothing like any other sea creatures! Did you know that there is a type of seahorse called a zebra seahorse? Can you guess what colours they are?

Mrs Sonpal made a turtle. She loves turtles because they are small and hide in their shells. Did you know sea turtles can live to about 100 years?

Miss Moore’s favourite sea creature is a seahorse because it’s a magical beautiful creature.

Miss Farnish created a rainbow fish using different materials. She decided to create a fish because it reminded her of all the colourful rainbows she is seeing in people’s windows to stay safe. It reminds her of the Hope family, who she is missing.

What is your favourite sea creature? Can you send us a picture of your favourite sea creature?

This week we are using fiction resources to learn about under the sea. There are some great activities in the ‘Home Learning’ attachment that you can do, including the challenge for this week.

We would love to hear what you have been doing with your family and all about the wonderful learning you are doing!  Remember to ask your parents/guardians to email pictures to foundation@hopehamiltonleicesterschu.onmicrosoft.com  with the name of your teacher in the subject box. We will try and reply to you as soon as we can.

Have a fantastic week and keep safe!

Miss Dattani, Miss Charlton, Mrs Essex and Miss Moore.
