Week 5: June 29th

Hello Year 2,

Firstly, what amazing weather last week! I hope you have all managed to get outside and enjoy the sunshine. I have been taking Gino out in his paddling pool. I wonder how many of you have been in the paddling pool. It was also awesome weather for lots of ice-cream (my favourite) and I froze a carrot so Gino could have a frozen carrot pop when I ate my ice-cream. This helps him with his teeth too as his teeth are growing and his gums get a little sore.

Thank you to all parents that came to collect your books and reports. If your parent hasn’t already collect your books from this year and your report they need to arrange to come to school to collect it.

Myself and Mrs Leedham are missing you all so much!

I had great fun last week as I went on a bug hunt around the school field to have a look at bug habitats. I then planned and designed a bug habitat for Design and technology and I am really excited to make my habitat this week.  I am using egg boxes, twigs, grass, rolled up card, a plant pot and a wet cotton wall ball for my water source. I hope you are excited about making it too!

Don’t forget to keep emailing in all your hard work, we love to see it!

Stay safe and keep smiling,

Miss Ballard
