VE Day
Friday 8th May is VE Day. It is a Bank Holiday so you do not
need to do school work.
VE Day is a celebration of Victory in Europe Day, when the
Second World War was won.
This year is the 75th anniversary of the victory!

- Hold your own VE Day celebration Dance party from 1940's! https://www.bbc.co.uk/bitesize/clips/zwn4wmn
- Make a war medal to commemorate all the soldiers that
fought in the war. You could use paint, foil, craft and many other creative materials.

- Design, draw and make your own bunting with a Great
British flag on or another design that reminds you of Britain.
- Bake a celebratory cake and decorate it with a VE design. You might choose a soldier cake, army cake, flag cake, maybe even a monarchy cake
