A big hello to all our wonderful F2 children!
How are you all keeping?
We all hope you have had a peaceful Easter break and that you and your families are well!
The Foundation Stage Teachers have been busy doing lots of lovely things to keep our minds and bodies healthy over our Easter break!
Miss Roberts has been keeping mindful and doing her yoga everyday-the same ones we do in class! Have you done any of the cosmic yoga too?
Mrs Iqbal celebrated her birthday over the holiday and got an electric piano as her gift! She has been learning to play and can now play Happy Birthday! Have you learnt any new skills over Easter?
Miss Farnish has been spending time with her family, baking cakes and gardening. Miss Farnish has been super resilient with her running and can now run 3 miles non-stop! Wow! How have you shown resilience recently?
Mrs Sonpal has been busy playing lots of games with her children such as Monopoly, Draughts, Boggle, Ludo and Trivial pursuit. Have you played any games with your family? Have you been taking turns well?
Mrs Furlong has been keeping her mind healthy by doing lots of mindful colouring. She has kept her body healthy by going for long walks in the sunshine. Have you been on any walks? What did you see on your walks?
Please share with us what you have been doing over Easter! Could you draw and write about it?
We are now in our summer term of school! This half terms topic is called ‘Commotion in the Ocean’. We will be learning about the seaside, different sea creatures, seaside rescue and pirates.
This week we are learning all about the seaside. Please see the ‘Home Learning’ attachment for different activities to help you keep up your super learning from home.
A nice activity to do this week-
Close your eyes and listen to some of this wonderful clip…..
How many different sounds can you hear? Where does it sound like we are? Create an image on your head of what you think this place looks like. Perhaps you can draw a picture of what you imagined? Can you write some describing words about your imaginary place?
We would love to hear what you have been doing with your family and all about the wonderful learning you are doing! Remember to ask your grown up to email pictures to: firstname.lastname@example.org with the name of your teacher in the subject box.
We miss our Hope family so much and cannot wait to see you all again!
We will send another message to you all here next week so keep your eyes peeled!
Have a wonderful week!
Miss Roberts, Miss Iqbal, Mrs Sonpal, Miss Farnish and Mrs Furlong
