Welcome back

Welcome back to another school year. The staff have already been in school getting everything ready and we can't wait to see the children and hear about what they've been up to.

We open at 8.45am on Tuesday, 30th August. New children should be taken to reception but everyone else should go straight to their new classes.

We welcome Sophie Johnson, a new teacher in year 3, and Jackie O'Halloran, an HLTA in year 5/6.

Please remember to check school uniform details. We'll be having a big push on everyone wearing correct uniform so all the children look smart and a part of the school. Only black shoes should be worn (small flat black ankle boots when the weather is bad) - and leggings, culottes and girls shorts are not school uniform.

Summer dresses may be worn for the first half term if we are lucky enough to continue to enjoy the good weather.

Milk and Breakfast club letters are on the letters page.

Clubs information will be sent out / put on letters page at the beginning of term.

The new menu will be published as soon as we receive it.

We're all looking forward to a really exciting and enjoyable school year.  Don't forget, if you have any questions you can ask the class teacher, call the office or email the office on

As ever, you can always contact me on

Our first topic will be 'Streets' focussing on our local area.

Let's hope the lovely weather continues so we have the perfect start to the new school year.
