The application process for school places at Hope Hamilton has changed due to new Government Regulations. ALL applications (with the exception of Foundation 1 part time places) must now be submitted directly to the Local Authority, on its own form. Church Schools are allowed to ask for extra information to assess priority under admissions policies, and the form for this can be accessed from the link below.
The supplementary information form IS NOT AN APPLICATION FORM but supplements the local authority's application form. To ask for a place you MUST complete the Local Authority's form and return it to them. To claim priority under the published admissions criteria for Hope Hamilton C of E Primary School, you MUST ALSO complete this supplementary information form and return it together with all supporting documents to the school office.

If you are requesting a place for your child at the school, it is important to be aware that we are a church school. If you are not sure what this means, do come in and have a chat with us.
We believe that high expectations lead to children achieving their best and that parental support is an important factor in this. We therefore ask all parents and children to sign a home-school agreement which includes support for our behaviour and attendance policy.Our uniform, including the logo, is compulsory and we expect all children to wear the full uniform.
FOUNDATION 2 APPLICATIONS FOR September 2017 will close on the 15th January 2017.
If you are unsuccessful and wish to appeal this needs to be done through the diocese as advised on the letter you will have received, not through the school or the local authority.
